In the March issue of The Hiker Tourist Magazine, the article in the Forest Mania section entitled “Life-giving water and forests” deals with the complex relationship between forests and water. Within this, the KASZÓ-LIFE project and its results were briefly presented as a practical example of forest water retention.

In connection with the LIFE project, the groundwater probes of the vending machines were placed in the groundwater level monitoring wells between 21 and 22 October 2019 last year. The probes were inspected and the annual data downloaded on 20 October 2020 by ERTI. The downloaded data can be read on a graph at 15 minute measurement intervals.

 

   

   

The weather station failed at the beginning of August due to sudden rains, so boreas ltd. a few weeks later, on August 31, 2020, he repaired the weather station. During the renovation, the instrument received a new display panel and a new rain measurement system.

  

Between 24 and 29 August this year, naik-erti staff recorded the monitoring of stocks in the selected 14 sample areas.

The trees marked with the numbering were renovated and their numbers were repainted. The purpose of the recording is to establish the health status of oaks and alders.

    

On 2020.06.12, the weather station was inspected by ERTI's staff, the rainfall measuring vessel was cleaned, and silica gel sachets were placed to protect the instrument.

The weather station is inspected every three months.

Station is expected to be part of the climate change impact analysis carried out by NAIK-ERTI.
