On occasion of the Day of Birds and Trees on 10th May Ökocentrum organised different afternoon programmes and activities for those that were interested. The event started with a presentation on birds given by Róbert Lukács, nature conservation engineer student of the University of Kaposvár. Following that, we walked through the Kaszó Öregerdő Educational Trail with the visitors, where they were told interesting facts about trees, forest wildlife and the importance of forest management.

In frame of the LIFE project ’Falco vespertinus in the Pannonian Region’ the cattle was driven out on Saint George’s day. Both KASZÓ Zrt. and NAIK-ERTI were represented at the event, where the project was introduced. We also watched as the Hungarian Grey Cattle was driven out to the pasture and participated in the presentation of an educational trail.
